CEO
Emma is New Zealander who has chosen to spend the bulk of her professional life in UK. She worked as a radiographer in London for many years before she moved into healthcare management, initially managing a large, successful interventional radiology private practice. She then founded L’Atelier Aesthetics, a skincare and facial aesthetics brand that as Owner and CEO she has taken from being a small single-handed practice to what is now one of the leading and most successful clinics on Harley St. When the team behind 101 Harley St Day Surgery were seeking out a CEO she was the outstanding and obvious choice.
Dr Daniel Wright
Medical Director
After gaining his MD in the US, Dan went on to distinguish himself becoming an outstanding NHS General Practicioner. Then, seeking pastures new, he became the owner, clinical lead and medical director of The Wright Practice (previously Freedomhealth). For the past five years he has overseen its expansion and modernisation so that it now sits firmly in the premier league of Primary sector primary care. We were therefore delighted when Dan agreed to be our Medical Director. The wealth of experience he brings to the role combined with a fresh, innovative approach to leadership has become the driving force of our endeavours.
Mike Massaro
Clinical Services Director
When Mike agreed to become our Clinical Services Director we couldn’t believe our luck. Mike has a vast background in frontline clinical and managerial roles within the healthcare sector. His expertise and hard work over the years has been integral to the success and growth of everywhere he has worked. Mike brings flare and passion to even the most routine of tasks and has worked tirelessly to make our new facility world class.
Mel Sonmez
Theatre Manager
Originally hailing from South Australia, Mel brings a wealth of healthcare experience to the role of Theatre Manager. Mel has trained extensively in both emergency department settings and surgical wards, specialising in colorectal, and gastroenterology cases. Her comprehensive clinical knowledge has been instrumental in understanding the needs of both patients and staff in high-pressure environments. Mel was drawn to 101 through her keen interest in aesthetics. She currently manages the day-to-day operations of the theatre, seamlessly coordinating the needs of our surgical teams, consultants, nursing staff, and patients. Her role is vital in ensuring a smooth and efficient patient journey, prioritising patient care while ensuring exceptional standards throughout the entire surgical process.
Maddie Hart
Head of Operations
Originally from Western Australia, Maddie holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Nursing, with part of her studies completed at the University of Exeter.She has worked in Emergency, Orthopaedic, General Surgery, Renal, and Hepatology transplant wards at a major tertiary hospital in Western Australia. This diverse background has equipped her with a deep understanding of healthcare operations and patient care. Her career also includes notable experience serving as Operations Coordinator for the Medical team for the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon in both 2019 and 2022. Since joining 101 in August 2023, Maddie has leveraged her diverse healthcare and operational expertise to ensure the efficient management of the organisation.
Eloise Bell
Bookings Manager
With over 18 years of experience in customer service, Eloise brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role of Bookings Manager, where she has been a key member of the team for the past 3 years. Before transitioning into her current role , Eloise spent 6 years working as a long-haul flight attendant, mastering the art of high-level service, and developing exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. This background in managing customer needs in dynamic, fast-paced environments has given her a unique ability to handle complex booking inquiries and provide outstanding support to clients. At 101, Eloise is dedicated to delivering a seamless and personalised experience for every patient, consultant, and surgeon, ensuring that all their needs are met with efficiency and compassion.
